The Voice Recognition is great. I just have to get to grips with the commands. I would say however that when the bar at the top is open and the VR is 'Sleeping' it is a bit too sensitive to other noises. If i am in a noisy office it keeps picking up sounds and insted of not reacting, it assumes i want it to start and keeps bleeping saying "Try saying Start Listning". Thats a bit anoying, but I guess it is something that will get ironed out. Personally Id rather it didnt try and guess what i might have wanted to say and insted of bleeping, JUST react to the designated commands.

I agree, it works pretty good. After working with it a couple hours, I had the urge to verbally tell my toilet to flush. Kinda like the feeling you get leaving a movie theater which ended at night, and walking into daylight. I also use MSN to make phone calls, so I also get annoyed with the whole try saying Start Listening stuff. I end up shutting it down during phonecalls.

I'm curious, I notice in your sig that you have fedora core running on your secondary drive..was it installed before or after Vista? Was Vista a clean install or an upgrade from XP? Which boot loader do you use, BCD or a linux loader like grub?

Voice Recognition was working fine, suddenly, although I can hear my voice back through my speakers, the system doesn't register the sound through the Mic so it doesn't work.
Any ideas?
